Texas Theta (West Texas A&M University) Wins Founders Trophy |
|
The Founders Trophy is given to the most outstanding
chapter of Phi Delta Theta on a medium-sized campus.
This year’s Founder’s Trophy winner is an absolutely
amazing chapter. Texas Theta is the largest fraternity on campus, nearly 50%
larger than the average chapter on campus. In addition, they excel at
academics, earning the highest fall GPA and second highest spring GPA. What
sets Texas Theta apart from other chapters on their campus is their dedication
and passion for philanthropy. Their chapter completed over 3,000 hours of
community service, and with their annual chili cook-off, they were able to
raise over $5,000 for the ALS Association.
Along with their strong commitment
to service, Texas Theta has been recognized many times across campus, earning
honors such as the All Greek Community Award during Greek Week, Greek
Man-of-the-Year, Most Outstanding Organization on Campus, and Most Outstanding
President on Campus. This group of outstanding men is known across campus as
being hard working and representing Phi Delta Theta positively at all times.
Congratulations to the brothers of Texas Theta at West Texas A & M
University for being named the 2012 Founder’s Trophy winners!
