Maryland Gamma (Washington College) Phi Awarded Visitors and Governors Medal for Academic Success |
At Washington College's Fall Convocation ceremony, Ryan Bankert (#202) was presented with the Visitors and Governors Medal. Bankert, a senior, received the award for having the highest academic average of all juniors during the 2011-2012 school year.
A double-major in Business Management & Hispanic Studies with a minor in Economics, Bankert was also one of four seniors to receive a Middendorf Scholars Award, given annually by the Middendorf Foundation to rising seniors in recognition of academic excellence and leadership qualities.
