Alabama Alpha (Alabama) Phis Help Tuscaloosa Walk to Defeat ALS Raise $28,000 |
(Tuscaloosa, AL— May 7, 2010) The ALS Association – Alabama Chapter held its 4th annual Walk to Defeat ALS™ on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at the University Of Alabama Campus-On The Quad. Over 250 attended and over $28,000 was raised to help support people with ALS throughout the state. Presenting sponsor was EBSCO Industries, Inc. Local sponsors included Jim Walter Resources, Financial Institutions of Tuscaloosa and Robertson Banking. The Phi Delta Theta Chapter was the venue sponsor and assisted with the logistics of the event.
