Phi Delta Theta Wins Bid for Expansion to Syracuse University |
Phi Delta Theta is pleased to announce that after a nearly 20-year absence it will be making its return to Syracuse University in the Fall of 2011. On April 29th, 2010, Phi Delta Theta Fraternity General Headquarters and alumni were notified by the Expansion Committee and Interfraternity Council of Syracuse University that they were selected out of a field of fifteen applicants.
Syracuse University was home to the New York Epsilon Chapter of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity from 1887 until the chapter’s closure in 1992. In its history, New York Epsilon initiated over 1,500 members into the Bond including NASA astronaut F. Story Musgrave and Lacrosse Hall of Famers Paul and Gary Gait.
