"College life is about meeting new people that will help you go far. Making new friends was easy after I met the guys at Phi Delta Theta. You’re welcome here, too."

Throughout the past 17 or 18 years, your son has depended on you for guidance and support.  Now, he’s becoming an adult ready for independence and responsibility.

College fraternities historically have supported young men during this important transition.  Today, fraternities are dynamic and progressive organizations that have responded to many challenges and maintained their positive influence on thousands of young men across North America.  These men go on to lead successful lives with integrity and high ideals, crediting their fraternity experience as vital to that success.

Phi Delta Theta is such a fraternity.  You are reading this now because your son wants to be a member as well – and you deserve to know where his involvement will lead him.

With Phi Delta Theta, he will be led by peers and alumni advisers into adulthood which will make him more self-sufficient, independent, and able to make values-based decisions.  Ultimately, he will recognize his place in life and discover the principles by which he wishes to live.

Membership Fees:

Being a part of the brotherhood of Phi Delta Theta enables you to access great programs.  As with any organization, members have a monetary obligation through the payment of dues both to the international organization and to the local Chapter.

All fraternities have a similar dues structure, but the costs do vary.  Phi Delta Theta is proud to be one of top ten largest fraternal organizations with a dues structure that is extremely competitive.

Phikeia induction dues (paid upon induction): $60  (Increasing to $65 after January 1, 2011)
Initiation dues (paid upon initiation): $225  (Increasing to $235 after January 1, 2011)
Annual membership dues (paid three times in college for a traditional member): $95  (Increasing to $110 after January 1, 2011)
Liability insurance (paid each year): $95

Please also note that the local dues structure can vary based on each chapter’s internal operations and unique programming.

Ask a chapter officer for a breakdown of their local dues and when comparing Phi Delta Theta with other organizations be sure to ask about their dues structure to compare.
