"College life is about meeting new people that will help you go far. Making new friends was easy after I met the guys at Phi Delta Theta. You’re welcome here, too."

Pennsylvania Zeta (UPenn) Phis Clean Fairmount Community Park
The brothers of the Pennsylvania Zeta Chapter at the Univeristy of Pennsylvania recently joined forces with the women of Alpha Chi Omega at a Fairmount Community Park service project.
According to Andy Macalaster of the Chapter, "I think everyone who attended would say that it was a smashing success. We got a ton of work done (highly commended by the coordinators at Fairmount Park) and it was extremely rewarding for all. Everyone gathered at 38th and locust at 12:30 and jumped on the bus to head to the park (followed by a few cars and caught up with later by a few stragglers!). Overall I believe we had around 30 people involved in the effort! The brothers spent a majority of the time clearing out invasive species... cutting, clipping, and ripping up roots. We also picked up trash and cleared a path that had been overgrown and long forgotten."
The Chapter will be heading back to Fairmount in the spring to continue the good work.
