Memorial Golf Tournament Held in Eastern Kentucky Phi's Name

keith_alan_case.jpgOn September 27, 2007 Keith Alan Case died of a massive heart attack at the age of 45 years young.  His shocking departure from this world has left a huge void in the many people’s lives that he has touched over the years.

Keith was a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, KY Theta Chapter at Eastern Kentucky University bond # 320.

Keith was very respected and active in the Louisville community.  Having grown up in the Iroquois Park area he worked as a purchasing agent for BLC industries, his families owned business for the past 23 years.

In honor of Keith and his many contributions to people from Louisville and all over the country through business or personal  contact, a Memorial Golf scramble was held in his name.  The “Nicklewood Open” or 2nd annual, Keith Case Memorial Golf Tournament was held on August 8, 2009 at Iroquois Golf Club.  More than 120 golfers turned out for the event and approximately $5,000 was raised.  The proceeds are being donated to The American Heart Association.  This event was a huge success and has become an annual event each summer for years to come.  If you would like to sign up for 2010’s event and or submit a donation please send any and all correspondence to the KCMF at PO Box 14187, Louisville, KY  40214.
