On Sunday, April 8, the Indiana Beta Chapter received the Most Improved Chapter Award at the sixth annual Fraternity Day at Wabash College.
“As the President of Indiana Beta, I have never been so proud to lead such a great group of men,” said junior Trevor Hix. “All of the brothers have come together to improve academics, campus involvement, and inter-chapter relations. The movement was started about four years ago with President Addison Hummel ’16 and continued by Collin Bell ’17 and Bryan Roberts ’18. As the current President, I know that this award belongs to everyone who has come through the chapter in the past three years. We will continue to improve and make the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity proud. I’m so proud to be a Phi today!”
The Wabash College Inter-Fraternity Council sponsored the event, and the panel judging entries included Mac Welch, Associate Dean of Students; Kyle Brumett, Head Basketball Coach; and Dr. Matt Carlson, Assistant Professor of Philosophy.
The fourth founded chapter of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity in 1850, Indiana Beta at Wabash College stands as one of the oldest continuous chapters within Phi Delta Theta and on the Wabash campus of ten fraternities.
