Texas Pi (Sam Houston State) Hosts 5k Dog Jog To Support Animal Adoption

11.20.2018

On November 17, the brothers of the Texas Pi Chapter at Sam Houston State University held a 5K dog jog in support of the Rita B. Huff Animal Adoption Center in Huntsville, Texas. The chapter worked hard and saw great success, raising $3,000 for Rita B Huff, getting five of their dogs adopted the day of the event, and gathering support from other Greek organizations on campus to help sponsor the event.

This event was made possible by the brothers coming together to accomplish a common goal to help the local Huntsville community. The chapter would especially like to thank Jonathan Hay and Ric Heiges for their hard work in organizing this great event.
