About Andrew

Andrew Cole is a member of the Indiana Epsilon Chapter and a graduate of Hanover College, where he earned a BA in political science with a minor in geology. He was also a business scholar in the Business Scholars Program at Hanover College. Andrew joined the General Headquarters staff over a decade ago and served the Fraternity as a leadership consultant and the Foundation as an advancement officer and director of advancement and planned giving. Currently, he serves as the senior vice president of advancement, leading the Foundation team and operations. Reporting directly to the president of the Foundation, Brother Cole serves as a vital member of the executive team and assists the Foundation Trustees in achieving fundraising success. This includes building an exceptional culture of philanthropy at all levels of the organization and successfully helping the Foundation complete the Campaign 2030 strategic plan. In addition, he is tasked with building infrastructure and developing strategies to ensure Phi Delta Theta’s place as the premier fraternal leadership organization through a donor-centric advancement program that attracts increasing levels of annual, major, and planned gifts.

Andrew is a board member (currently serving as president) of the Greater Cincinnati Planned Giving Council (GCPGC) and a regular participant with the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Greater Cincinnati Chapter. He earned his Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) certification in 2019 and is a graduate of the Nonprofit Leadership Institute of Cincinnati’s EXCEL program.

Andrew has served as a chapter volunteer for the Fraternity and is an Iron Phi.  He is also a member of The Society of the Cincinnati and serves on the vestry of the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer. Andrew enjoys working on his house, gardening, and the great outdoors; especially any national park. He lives in his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio in the Oakley neighborhood with his wife Maria (Alpha Chi Omega, Butler University), son Henry, and their wheaten terrier Dolly.
